This wine is made up of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes from the Champagne region of France.
The Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes combine their characteristics of weight and ability to age, with a softer, fruitier style. Apart from careful winemaking the secret here is the wine is aged for at least 3 years before release which allows the cuvée to develop its fresh lightly biscuit aroma and fully flavoured palate.
This wine pairs well with pork, shellfish and soft cheeses.
