This wine is made up of 100% Lledoner Pelut grapes. This grape variety is similar to Grenache but differs with its hairy buds. It matures slightly later than Grenache and often produces fruitier wines. It is aged in hogs-head barrels for 2 years. It certainly improves with age.
Deep red in colour and red fruits, such as strawberries and raspberries, with hints of spice and herbs on the nose. The palate is soft, silky and long.
This wine pairs well with most meat dishes and even pairs nicely with spicy dishes.
