This wine is made from a blend of Merlot and Syrah grapes from the Thracian Valley region in Bulgaria.
It is a beautifully balanced blend that showcases the harmonious marriage of Merlot and Syrah. It is deep ruby red in colour, and the wine opens with a complex bouquet or ripe blackberries, plums and a hint of spice. On the palate, rich, ripe fruit flavours of black cherry, currants and plums intertwine with layers of smoke and spice.
Ideal with moussaka and rich tomato-based dishes.
