This wine is made from Pinot Noir (60%) and Rondo (40%) grapes, carefully hand picked in Autumn after a long, warm, growing season.
Deep crimson red in colour, with aromas of cassis and red plum on the nose. The palate is medium bodied with a soft, silky texture and a subtle hint of spice from oak, which leads to a long, moreish finish. The wine has depth and complexity from ageing of the wine in French oak barrels for five months.
