A schnapps-like liqueur produced in the Loire Valley but with roots going back to the 19th century and the countryside in Latvian capital, Riga.
Aniseed and hints of orange zest initially, followed by a sweetness on the palate combined with caraway flavours and a hint of white pepper. The finish has a note of fresh liquorice.
